Honestly, Sanora didn’t start on purpose. It started with me selling used clothes from my mom’s stash. She kept a ridiculous amount of clothes from her, mine, and my sister’s closets—most of it in surprisingly good condition. So, I started selling them as a little side hustle.
But then, out of nowhere, I had this strange urge to pick up crochet and start making toys. Yep, toys. It surprised a lot of people, but for some reason, I was drawn to it. I bought a crochet kit and went to one of my dad’s aunts to teach me the basic stitches. My father comes from a family of crafters—his aunts are pros at crocheting chairbacks, clothing, and hats. But I wasn’t interested in making the usual stuff; I wanted to create plushies.
After spending an afternoon learning the basics, I went home and dove straight in. Within a week, I had made five items—not perfect, but surprisingly good for a beginner. That was July 2024. By October, I was selling my creations. I discovered a new passion, one that let me be creative and have fun. And it shows in everything I make!

Our Mission
Sanora exists to create thoughtful, gift-worthy crochet pieces that celebrate people, memories, and meaningful moments. At the same time, we are committed to making the craft itself more accessible — by offering quality supplies, curated kits, and beginner-friendly classes that remove the intimidation from getting started.
We believe handmade should feel personal, not out of reach. Whether someone chooses a custom piece made with care or decides to learn and create their own, Sanora provides the tools, guidance, and support to make that possible.
Our mission is not only to sell plushies— but to build confidence, creativity, and connection through it.
